Welcome to our Piano Performance Lessons studios, we will be very happy to guide your piano studies. Our commitment with our students is to provide high quality piano lessons in a positive and enthusiastic environment. As a result, all our students enjoy playing piano with artistry and confidence.
We teach all ages and levels for your short and/or long term goals, because playing piano is an integral part of the education and human development.
We compare playing piano with making exercise. We exercise to feel better and improve our health, it doesn't have to be on a competitive level, exercise is for everyone and we do it at any age. That's how we think about playing piano: it doesn't have to be to pursue a professional career always, but also for our own joy and development at any age. However, our teachers have the experience and preparation to help you develop a professional career as concert pianist and accompanist if that is what you wish.
Besides assigning excellent piano instructors, we assign the right piano instructor for each of our students to ensure that they will succeed in their piano studies (you can see our piano instructors and their performances on the right column in this page, or click the "Piano Instructors" tab to read about them). Either if you want to get prepared for an audition to enter into a college, or you are already majoring in piano performance, if you have a four years old child or older that you would like to start in the endless and amazing field of piano performance, if you want to play for hobby, if you want a specific style like classical, pop, Suzuki, or want to develop good skills to be a good piano accompanist, or just to keep sharpening your beginner, intermediate, or advanced piano performance skills. We have the right teacher for you because every person has specific goals, dreams, and ways to improve in his/her piano performance.
We have a very extensive piano repertoire for beginners and higher levels in order that our students learn technique and artistry from the very beginning with fun pieces rather than just boring exercises. For decades we have been researching for piano repertoire that live up to the joy, fun, and technique development of our students.
Our teachers throughout the Chicago area have from 5 to 20 years of teaching experience, with Bachelors, Masters, Suzuki training, or with several of the levels above mentioned. But all of our teachers have something in common: they all strive and succeed in making of every student they take, an artistic piano skillful performer. Each teacher adapts to the learning pace of each student always encouraging them to push their musical abilities further with total patient and flexibility.
We demonstrate the improvement of our students in recitals twice a year organized by Piano Performance Lessons (click the "Coming Events" tab to see when is our next student recital). Moreover, if the student wishes, we send him/her to recitals, showcases, and competitions organized by other institutions in the Chicago are and the Illinois state.
Piano Performance Lessons is pleased to announce that we are the Award-Winners as the "Best of 2016 and 2018" in the Chicago area as piano teachers. This award was given to us by "Thumbtack Professional Services". You can see the award and our reviews by clicking the tab "Reviews and Awards".
